American GI Forum of Texas, Inc.: AUSTIN, Texas –The National Conference Committee is working to finalize details for the upcoming 2019 American G I Forum of the United States National Conference scheduled for August 4-8, 2019 at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, 129 East Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada 89101. National Commander Larry Romo confirms that updates and information will be mailed to or posted on this site as it becomes available.

My parents always reminded me that being the oldest of 13 children I had to set an example for my brothers and sisters and that was to go to college and get an education. My 5th grade teacher, Sister Mary Louis demanded to know what I wanted to be when I grew up, which prompted me to tell her I wants to be an aeronautical engineer.
