It is with great sadness that I send this message of the loss of the grandson of Laura Flores. 
 
On behalf of the American GI Forum we send condolences to the family of Laura Flores.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.  
 
Below is the message posted by the family.
Our family is deeply saddened to inform you that Luis Alberto Rodriguez passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019. As you can imagine, his untimely death has left the family who loved him with lots of shock and grief, and we appreciate all of your love and support during this difficult time. Luis’ time on this earth was short, but his love, life, and legacy will live on for a lifetime. If you are just learning of this news, we are sorry you had to find out this way.

We are currently making funeral arrangements and will update you all with those details once they are finalized. 

If you have sent a message, a text, or have called or stopped by to show your love and support, we thank you from the bottom of our heart. If you reach out and don’t hear back right away, we ask for your patience. We are taking it one day at a time and will get back to you as soon as we can.
